Description

Hope Mission is a Christian non-profit social care agency that provides emergency care, shelter, meals, housing support, addiction recovery and health services for individuals and families experiencing homelessness, poverty, or other challenges. Services are accessible every day of the week with specific drop-in and meal times. Hope Mission’s services and programs are free with the exception of housing and camp programs which may require partial income contributions, fees or fundraising support. Hope Mission is a non-judgmental, inclusive, trauma-informed, and client-centered organization.

Services include:

  • Emergency shelters and outreach 24/7 across Edmonton
  • Meals and basic needs
  • Indigenous cultural supports
  • Medical care
  • ID services
  • Housing support and Income support navigation
  • Faith-based addiction recovery programs for men and women
  • School lunch and After-school programs
  • Summer camp opportunities for children and youth

Housing and recovery programs need assessments before accessing them. However, the rest of the services are available at a walk-in basis. It is also noted that you do not need to be staying at one of the shelters to access free meals.
