Most items are displayed on our front desk in the Support Hub. All you have to do is walk on and grab one or two, no questions asked!
Select items are only available by request, but the front desk person will always be happy to help you.
Additionally, our capsule machines on the second floor of the SAMU building have condoms, lubricant, and deodorant available all day, even after the Support Hub closes!
Most of the year we are open!
We are open during the Fall and Winter terms Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. We reduce our hours during the Spring and Summer terms to 11:00 AM to 3 PM Monday to Friday.
We are closed for all statutory holidays and when MacEwan Campus is closed. We are typically closed for the Fall and Winter Reading Breaks as well when we conduct Pantry Inventory. To see all our hours check out our Support Hub Calendar!
We provide support to all MacEwan students.
We offer a variety of items! Condoms (internal and external), dental damns, lubricant, tampons, pads, deodorant, lip balm.
Also available by request: pregnancy tests, masks, notebooks, pens/pencils, drug tests for fentanyl and xylazine, hand warmers, and toques.
*Please note that there might be times we may not have all these items. We try our best to keep stock, however, sometimes items go faster then expected.
You can do lots of different things! You can ask to speak to a Peer Support volunteer (to chat about what is going on for you), pick up your hamper from The Pantry, pick up your Support Kit, grab a support item, browse our wall of resources, or ask the helpful staff member at the front desk any questions.
Everything in the Support Hub is completely free for MacEwan students.
